Defense-security governance is a subject that refers to the way power is implemented in the country's defense-security institutions and its management, which is of course based on policies, mechanisms and processes that are implemented with the aim of repelling threats, protecting the country and ensuring security. . One of the indicators and frameworks of defense-security governance is the values ​​and norms governing the society. Success in defense-security governance requires knowledge of the state of society's values ​​and its application. Political values ​​are among these values ​​that neglecting them will make governance face serious obstacles and challenges. Therefore, in this research, an attempt is made to answer the question that; What features will the application of political values ​​in the defense-security governance of J.A. Iran lead to?
To answer this question, data was collected using documentary and field method (interview) and analyzed qualitatively through open and axial coding. The statistical population includes 22 professors and experts in the field of research who were selected using the chain sampling method.The findings indicate that legitimization and acceptability, religious democracy, orientation to goals and policies, relying on divine power, facilitating the implementation of policies, creating a defense-security structure for the people. The basis is to facilitate political socialization and stability of the government, strengthening hope in the forces, negation of dominance and domineering, attractiveness for the country and repelling threats among the features of political values ​​in defense-security governance, which is the exercise of power and It facilitates the better implementation of policies and helps to achieve the goals of defense-security governance.
